A projected decal. Put it on an entity and move, turn and scale it like any object.
Fields§
§texture: StringImage (its alpha cuts the shape). Empty: the procedural shape is drawn.
normal_map: StringOptional tangent-space normal map (relief of the decal).
orm_map: StringOptional occlusion / roughness / metallic map.
shape: DecalShapeProcedural shape used when there is no image.
blend: DecalBlendHow the decal combines with the surface.
color: [f32; 4]Tint (multiplied with the image), linear RGBA.
opacity: f32Overall strength 0..1.
roughness: f32Surface roughness under the decal.
metallic: f32Metalness under the decal.
emission: f32Glow added on top (lights up in the dark).
normal_strength: f32Strength of the normal map or of the shape’s relief.
angle_fade: f32Fade on surfaces turned away from the projection, 0 = paint everything, 1 = only faces looking straight along the decal.
seed: i32Random variation of the procedural shapes.
order: i32Higher numbers draw on top of lower ones.
max_distance: f32Not drawn beyond this distance from the camera (0 = always); saves time with many decals.
